Rolling Stone's Top 50 Songs of 2016

After revealing their top 50 albums of 2016, Rolling Stone put out a list of their top 50 songs of 2016. It seems hard to believe that Britney Spears made the 34th best song of 2016 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers made the 12th best, but that’s what Rolling Stone says. There’s also some more ubiquitous stuff on there like Kanye West‘s “Ultralight Beam,” Rae Sremmurd‘s “Black Beatles,” and Beyonce‘s “Formation” (like on the RS albums list, Bey comes in at #1). There’s also a lot of small indie bands on there like LVL UP, Mannequin Pussy, Free Cake for Every Creature, Japanese Breakfast and Yohuna.
