Ruins of Beverast, Evoken, Dead Congregation & more playing NYC
Germany’s The Ruins of Beverast have announced they will bring blackened doom to a couple of rare US shows this year. They’re on the lineup for outdoor metal fest Fire on the Mountains, which happens from July 13-14 in Moran, Wyoming (with Wolves in the Throne Room and many more), and now they’ve added an NYC show right before the festival. They’ll hit Brooklyn Bazaar on July 5, 2019 as part of “Stardust VII: Vado Mori.” The bill also features Greece’s Dead Congregation, and an appearance by funeral doom vets Evoken (who have a much shorther commute coming over from NJ), as well as Daeva, Fetid, Witch Vomit, Siege Column, Windfaerer, Massive Retaliation, Dreadlords, Dumal, and Basilysk. Tickets are on presale now through the end of February with the password “vado mori.”
Evoken shows are rare, but they did make a rare NYC appearance in 2018 at the same Brooklyn venue with Runemagick. They’ve also been announcing more shows little by little. They’re listed below, along with a stream of their acclaimed 2018 album Hypnagogia.
Along with their two US dates, The Ruins of Beverast have upcoming shows in Germany, Belgium, Norway, Switzerland, and Slovenia throughout 2019. See all of their upcoming dates below.
