Ryley Walker planning new music, touring in 2017
In continued support of this year’s Golden Sings That Have Been Sung (and some upcoming new music), Ryley Walker will hit the road in 2017. Here’s the announcement in his words:
Hey there. Nice times in 2016 (except the real sad times which were most of the times)
Gonna get to work in 2017. Gonna finish a couple duo records with friends and get started on a new record from my tunes.
but hey hey here’s a nice little tour. Some dates with andrew bird. Never met him before, but I’m looking forward to the gigs. Maybe we will share a deli meat tray backstage. I don’t know. The results will for sure be posted here once they come about. Let’s hope the sidewalks are shoveled and nobody steps in freezing sludge loading in! Brrrr gonna be a good/cold couple few weeks here
The tour hits NYC on January 26 at Rough Trade. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (12/16) at noon. All dates are listed below.
None of Ryley’s shows with Andrew Bird are in (or near) NYC, but Andrew Bird plays two MSG shows on his tour with The Lumineers.
