Sam Smith made a new video, is musical guest on Louis CK-hosted 'SNL' this weekend; Pharrell on 'SNL' next week

UK singer Sam Smith is no longer “the dude who sang on that Disclosure song,” having already sold out Webster Hall this year and has a debut album, In the Lonely Hour, poised for release in May. You can check out the video for his gospel-inflected new single “Stay with Me” below. He may fully blow up after this weekend when he’ll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (3/29) with host Louis CK. You can watch some promos for this week’s SNL below.

SNL has also announced their next two hosts and musical guests: the April 5 episode will be hosted by Ana Kendrick with musical guest Pharrell, and then on April 12 it’s host Seth Rogen and musical guest Ed Sheeran.
