Santigold played a couple small release parties for her great new album 99 Cents back around its February release date, and over the weekend she brought her tour back to NYC for a much larger show at Hammerstein Ballroom (4/30). Like at Rough Trade, she brought a ton of people on stage for a dance party, but this was of course a much longer set than that four-song show. We didn’t get the exact setlist for this one, but like at the other shows on this tour, she mixed it up pretty well between all three of her albums, with plenty of highlights off the new one like “Banshee,” “Can’t Get Enough of Myself,” and more.
Opening the show was Leikeli47 and DonMonique. Pictures of all three artists are in this post. Santigold plays NYC again in August for the Full Moon festival.
