SASAMI announces debut album on Domino & tour, shares "Jealousy"

SASAMI (aka former Cherry Glazerr keyboardist/backup vocalist Sasami Ashworth) signed to Domino last year around the time she released second single “Not The Time” (the followup to “Callous”), and now she has announced her self-titled debut album which will be out on March 8 via that label. It includes those two singles, as well as the just-released “Jealousy,” which is less indie rock than her previous two singles and more of a sweeping ballad with a throwback, Nancy Sinatra Bond theme vibe. SASAMI wrapped up a tour with Mitski not long ago, and has now also announced an extensive tour of her own, including a Brooklyn show on April 30 at Elsewhere Zone One. Tickets go on sale Friday (1/11) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
