Sasquatch founder starts new fest, THING (inaugural lineup announced)

Adam Zacks, founder of Sasquatch Festival (RIP), has announced a brand new music, comedy, and podcast festival, THING. Happening at Port Townsend, WA’s Historic Fort Worden from August 24-25, THING’s music lineup includes Violent Femmes, De La Soul, Calexico and Iron & Wine, Jeff Tweedy, Khruangbin, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Parquet Courts, Phosphorescent, Japanese Breakfast, Snail Mail, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Orville Peck, Bedouine, Sudan Archives, Ryley Walker, Fontaines DC, and more. It also includes podcasts Bunny Ears with Macaulay Culkin, The Tobolowsky Files with Stephen Tobolowsky and Too Beautiful To Live with Luke Burbank & Andrew Walsh, a live reading of An Officer and a Gentleman, Napoleon Dynamite Live!, which is a conversation with Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, and John Gries, plus a screening of the film, and more.
