Saves the Day

Saves the Day announce new album, tour with Kevin Devine & An Horse

Saves the Day have announced their ninth album (and first in five years), which is titled 9, and due out October 26 via Equal Vision. They’re calling it an “autobiographical” album about the band itself. “This album is the story of Saves The Day and my own personal journey through life, which all unfolded as my relationship with music progressed,” said frontman (and only constant/original member) Chris Conley. The first single is “Rendezvous,” which sounds a little closer to mainstream, turn-of-the-millennium pop punk than Saves the Day have sounded in a while (or ever). You can watch the lyric video below.

Saves the Day also announced a tour with some pretty awesome support (on most dates): Kevin Devine and the back-in-action An Horse.

Kevin isn’t billed for the Brooklyn show on November 14 at Warsaw (tickets), but he plays his own Brooklyn show on 8/23 in Industry City (tickets). (UPDATE: Kevin has been added to the Warsaw show.) There’s also an Asbury Park show on November 10 at Stone Pony and more. You can get tickets for all dates here. All are listed below.
