Saves the Day expand 'Through Being Cool' tour
Saves the Day have been celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic 1999 sophomore album Through Being Cool; they’re releasing an expanded reissue on splatter vinyl, CD, and cassette in October, and doing a few special shows where they play the album in its entirety. Both previously announced dates, November 2 at Sayreville NJ’s Starland Ballroom and November 9 at Anaheim CA’s House of Blues, are now sold out, so Saves the Day have announced two more Through Being Cool shows. They happen in Brooklyn at Elsewhere on November 3 (tickets), and in Los Angeles at Bootleg Theater on November 10 (tickets). Both shows go on sale Thursday, September 12 at noon, with a fan club presale happening now.
Hot Rod Circuit open all four Saves the Day dates, performing their 2002 classic Sorry About Tomorrow in full. They also have a couple of shows coming up without Saves the Day, too.
