Say Anything at Irving Plaza

Say Anything played 3 full albums at 2 Irving shows with Tim Kasher (pics)

Say Anything are currently on the road playing full albums, and they stopped at NYC’s Irving Plaza on Sunday (1/14) and Monday (1/15). The premise of the tour is that they’re doing two stops in each city, with disc one of In Defense of the Genre on night one and disc two on night two, plus Is A Real Boy one night and self-titled the other night… but they aren’t saying which album will be which night. In NYC, they did self-titled on night one and Is A Real Boy on night two, plus night two got “A Walk Through Hell” from 2002’s Menorah/Mejora EP in the encore. Making these shows extra exciting was that they were part of the leg with Cursive frontman Tim Kasher opening. Pictures of night one are in the gallery above, and videos and both setlists are below.
