Say Hi Caterpillar Centipede

Say Hi announces new album & living room tour, shares new song

Eric Elbogen’s announced that he was retiring his long-running indie rock project Say Hi last year, and he planned to focus on his “experimental-art / sci-fi rap project” Werewolf Diskdrive instead. In his own words, “a centaur named David Bowie came to me in a dream” and “I could tell, before he even said it, that he was going to try to convince me to revive Say Hi.” Eric’s dream self and his IRL self eventually agreed, and Eric is back with the first Say Hi album since 2015’s Bleeders Digest, Caterpillar Centipede, which is due September 7 via his own Euphobia Records, which he released his first five albums on (before signing to Barsuk for his last four albums). The album’s lead single is “Every Gauge is On Empty,” which basically sounds like classic Say Hi, which isn’t a bad thing at all. Eric’s always done this kind of thing super well, and “Every Gauge Is On Empty” is no exception. Listen below.

Say Hi is also going on a living room tour, including NYC on October 3. More details on the tour (and how you can host a show) HERE. All dates are listed below.
