School of Language

As I briefly pointed out earlier in the week, School of Language is here from the UK to play Cake Shop tonight (March 8, 2008).

Sea From Shore (out new) is the debut School Of Language CD from Field Music’s David Brewis. It’s a solo project and has a few special guests including The Futureheads’ Barry Hyde and David Craig, as well former star of Kenickie and Rosita, Marie Nixon and their friend Sarah McKeown. David will be touring the US for the month of March which includes a show on March 8th at the Cake Shop in NYC. For the US tour he’s enlisted the help of bassist Doug McCombs (Tortoise/Eleventh Dream Day) and drummer Ryan Rapsys (Euphone/Jade Tree).
