Screaming Females tour updates: 3rd NYC show added, Mitski opening 2nd leg, Downtown Boys playing NYC w/ guests

Screaming Females‘ new album Rose Mountain comes out February 24 via Don Giovanni, and they continue to stay busy in support of it. They already have two releases shows on February 28 at Knitting Factory Brooklyn with Priests, Tenement and Vacation (early show sold out, late show still on sale), and now they’ve also added Rough Trade NYC (2/24) on album release date, where they’ll be performing the LP in full. To get in, you have to buy a copy of the album from the Rough Trade store that day and get a wristband for entry. Doors are at 6:30 PM, show at 7.

After those shows, Screaming Females will head out on a tour with labelmates Downtown Boys that begins on March 7 in Baltimore. One day before that though, Downtown Boys play Brooklyn’s Silent Barn (3/6) with Aye Nako and “Special Guests.” Who could they be? Tickets are on sale now. Downtown Boys also since added a Connecticut show with Lydia Lunch.

After SXSW, Screaming Females continue on the road and Mitski has been added as an opener to some of those dates, including the one in their home state of NJ on April 4 at Asbury Lanes. Tickets for that show are still available. Mitski is also going on tours with Speedy Ortiz and Hundred Waters, playing NYC on both. Updated Screaming Females and Mitski dates are listed below.
