Seaport Music Festival 15th Anniversary: final lineup and set times
The Seaport Music Festival’s 15th Anniversary celebration is this week, happening Thursday (9/7) – Sunday (9/10) at NYC’s South Street Seaport. It’s free and all-ages, and the final lineup and full schedule have been announced. The two main days of music are all-day shows on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday (9/9) has headliner Ted Leo, plus Big Huge, Azar Swan, and Jean Grae; and Sunday (9/10) has headliner The Make-Up, plus Martin Rev (Suicide), James Chance & The Contortions, The Wolfmanhattan Project, The Nude Party, Death Valley Girls, Surfbort and Warm Drag.
Friday night (9/8) is The Dance Cartel’s “Wet Clutch” which is “an immersive drive-in dance experience premiere that reinterprets and remixes movie heroines from the last four decades of American film.” Thursday night (9/7) features Comedy on the Wavertree with Ophira Eisenberg of NPR’s Ask Me Another, and Adira Amram & The Experience (Funny or Die). You need to RSVP for the comedy event.
