Seefeel announce first-ever North American tour (again, finally)

Seefeel, the electronic-leaning UK post-rock/shoegaze group who released albums on Too Pure, Warp and Aphex Twin’s Rephlex Records, reunited in 2011 for a new album, and were supposed to tour North America for the first time ever. The tour ended up getting canceled, but now, eight years later, they’re giving it another go, announcing fall dates. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the U.S. release of their influential debut album, Quique, and, though it hasn’t been advertised as a full-album tour, the band have been playing it in full in the UK. “With just over 25 years elapsing since the release of their seminal debut album ‘Quique,’ SEEFEEL are hopping across the pond for their North American debut — a night never to be forgotten” reads promotional copy.

Dates are all in November and include stops in Santa Ana, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and more. The Brooklyn show happens at Warsaw on 11/14. Tickets for Warsaw go on sale Wednesday, July 31 at 10 AM.

All announced dates are listed, along with a stream of Quique, below.

Speaking of rare shows at Warsaw in Brooklyn, Current 93, who were also supposed to tour in 2011, will play Warsaw next year.
