Brazilian musician and actor Seu Jorge current tour has been a tribute to David Bowie, where he plays his takes on Bowie songs in Portuguese, much as he did in Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. That tour just had two nights at NYC’s Town Hall over the weekend (11/11 & 11/12). Dressed as his Life Aquatic character, Pelé dos Santos, Jorge played against a backdrop of clips from film during the second half ot the show, and the crowd absolutely loved it. Pictures from the 11/11 show, which was presented by World Music Institute, are in the gallery above and you can watch him play “Space Oddity” at 11/12 Town Hall below.

Seu Jorge will be back with one more ‘Life Aquatic’ show at Town Hall on December 11 and tickets are still available.
