Shabazz Palaces opening for Radiohead after free Digable Planets show, before Afropunk (dates)
Shabazz Palaces has been announced as the opener of both of Radiohead‘s upcoming shows at Shrine Auditorium in LA. The Seattle-based project of Ishmael Butler, aka Butterfly of Digable Planets, will also play shows before and after that around the country including Afropunk Fest in Brooklyn on August 27th. All dates are listed below.
Shortly before those early August Radiohead dates (and after them), Butterfly will be on the road as part of the reunited Digable Planets. As mentioned, that tour now includes a FREE 7/30 SHOW IN PROSPECT PARK, part of the Celebrate Brooklyn series of shows. All Digable Planets dates are listed HERE.
Radiohead also just announced other openers for their limited tour dates, including the two shows at MSG which will be opened by Dawn of Midi.
