Sharon Jones memorials happening in Brooklyn and Georgia next week

This has been a brutal year and one of the saddest losses was Sharon Jones who had fought so hard and remained such a positive force in the face of cancer. Two official memorials will take place next week: the first is at Brooklyn’s Brown Memorial Baptist Church on December 14 (6:30 PM); and then at Augusta, GA’s Imperial Theater on December 17 (1 PM). The flyer for both is above and donations can be made in Sharon’s honor via The LustgartenFoundation, James Brown Family Foundation, and Little Kids Rock.
