The soulful sounds of the great Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings return with Give The People What They Want, the new album which will see the light of day August 6 via Daptone Records. The announcement comes with an appropriately funky new single in “Retreat!” — streaming below. The cover art, which you can see above, includes a photo taken by BV photographer Kyle Dean Reinford.
SJ’s dates this summer are rather limited thus far, but you can catch the singer next weekend in Brooklyn at the sold-out The Great GoogaMooga on May 19. All tour dates are listed below.
