Sharon Van Etten announces new LP release date via t-shirt
If you’re wondering when Sharon Van Etten is going to release her next album, which she’s been working on for a while, apparently you are not alone. It’s a question that so many people have been asking, Sharon had a t-shirt made and sold on her website that says, “When is Sharon Van Etten’s Next Album?”
Folks who ordered the shirt got the answer to that question when they received it in the mail, as the back of it says “01182019”…aka January 18, 2019. At least one fan also got a post-it note stuck to their shirt that read “Thanks for wanting to know!”
While we wait for January to roll around, Sharon is on Marissa Nadler’s new album that’s out this week. She also covered LCD Soundsystem’s “New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down” backed by an orchestra last month, and she performs at the upcoming ACL Festival.
