Sheck Wes plays Terminal 5 amid controversy (212 Day pics w/ A$AP Rocky & more)

Many of Harlem’s biggest current stars converged at NYC’s Terminal 5 this past Tuesday (2/12) for the special “212 Day” event, which celebrated the long, storied history and culture of Harlem. The AT&T-sponsored event mainly centered around an onstage roundtable conversation with A$AP Rocky and Dapper Dan, who were also joined by Teyana Taylor, Jerry Lorenzo (Fear of God), and Fab 5 Freddy. The discussion delved into a wide range of topics, such as fashion, hip hop, and black culture. The event was decorated with many lavish props perfect for Instagram photo-ops (including a replica of Dapper Dan’s shop), and food was also served, catered from local institutions Sylvia’s and Harlem Pizza Co.

Following the roundtable, there were a few short sets from Teyana Taylor and Crystal Caines, in addition to a performance from Sheck Wes, who appeared amid recent accusations of abuse by his former partner Justine Skye, which he denies.

You can view photos from the event above, and some fan-shot videos below.
