Sheer Mag announce new album & tour, share “Blood From A Stone”

Sheer Mag A Distant Call

Sheer Mag are following their 2017 debut album Need To Feel Your Love with sophomore LP A Distant Call on August 23 via their own Wilsuns RC label. They recorded vocals with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange), instead of on an 8-track like on previous releases, and you can get a taste of Sheer Mag’s slightly polished-up new sound from lead single “Blood From A Stone.” They’ve always shown off a love of ’70s hard rock and glam, but with this shiny new sound, they sound even closer to that era. Sheer Mag have also announced a lengthy tour, including a NYC show on October 9 at Elsewhere. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/21) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
