Shy Boys released debut album, on tour now (dates & streams)

Kansas City, MO trio Shy Boys make what I guess you’d call indiepop — their guitars jangly, the vocals are high and light, and then there’s the name. But they’re not wimps. Shy Boys’ self-titled full-length, recorded live, shows off impressively catchy songs and they’re played with spirit and charm. You can stream the entire thing (“Notion” and “Bully Fight” are especially good) below.

Shy Boys are on tour as we speak and have two NYC dates this week. They play Cake Shop on Wednesday (1/29) with fellow KC band Memorial Gore, plus Sports Guy. They then play Glasslands on Friday (1/31) with headliners Mahogany and Lazyeyes (tickets).
