Sic Alps playing a Captured Tracks Festival in NYC this summer and other tour dates ++ MP3

Sic Alps have been fairly quiet release-wise, at least compared to their San Francisco pals Fresh & Onlys, Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segal (who is now the band’s drummer), with only a single on Slumberland (the awesome a-side is at the top of this post), and a couple tour-only singles in the last two years.

The Woodsist Showcase at Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 25th will be will be their first NYC show since that Quasi-curated show at the old Knitting Factory back in December 2008. With a monthlong tour of Europe leading up to the Northside Festival show, it would stand to reason the band will have some records out soon. Also, and most interestingly, Sic Alps’ tour dates include a July TBA slot for a yet-to-be-announced 2010 Captured Tracks Festival. All dates and a video are below.
