Sigur Ros streaming new album, announce more tour dates

As mentioned, Sigur Ros will release their new album, Kveikur, next week (6/18) via XL. It’s their second album since coming back from hiatus, after 2012’s Valtari, and while that album was arguably their most ambient, Kveikur is the exact opposite. It’s the closest Sigur Ros have ever come to industrial rock, and though they’ve been known to get dark and loud at their shows, this is the heaviest they’ve ever sounded on record. It’s noticeably different than anything else in their catalog, but still sounds entirely like Sigur Ros.
