SiriusXM is free to try through May

SiriusXM is offering free access to all 300+ channels of its streaming service for users in North America through May 15, as Deadline reports. If you haven’t tried Sirius, or heard our weekly BrooklynVegan Blog Radio show, which airs every Monday night from 10 PM-midnight on SiriusXMU (channel 35), here’s your chance. Howard Stern announced the promotion on his own Sirius show on Channel 100, and SiriusXM CEO Jim Meyer says, “with so many people asked to stay at home, we are making our full streaming lineup of music, entertainment, news and information easily accessible to everyone. In the days ahead, we hope it’s a valuable source of information or diversion, a generous mix of fresh live content, and a source of companionship that comes from the hosts on our many shows and channels.”

People who aren’t already subscribers can download the SiriusXM app or visit http://siriusxm.com/streamfree to start their trial, no credit card info required.
