Skatune Network teams with Counter Intuitive for covers album (stream a track)

Skatune Network

In case you aren’t familiar, Skatune Network is Jeremy Hunter, a one-person-band who has been going viral thanks to their ska covers of songs from all different walks of non-ska life. Just visit the Skatune Network YouTube channel for ska covers of everything from blink-182 to Billie Eilish to American Football to the Star Wars theme.

Now, Skatune Network has teamed with Counter Intuitive Records to release a covers album entirely with songs by “Counter Intuitive-adjacent” bands, including Oso Oso, Prince Daddy & the Hyena, Retirement Party, Kississippi, Nervous Dater, and more. The album’s called Pick It The Fuck Up and it comes out September 27 via Counter Intuitive (pre-order). We’re premiering the cover of Graduating Life‘s “Cold Raviolis,” which already has some ska-style horns on the original, but Skatune Network turns it into a full skankfest and it’s pretty damn fun. It comes with one of Jeremy’s usual one-person-band performance videos and you can watch/listen below.
