Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’ wins 2016 Mercury Prize


Skepta’s Konnichiwa has won the 2016 Mercury Prize, beating odds favorite David Bowie’s Blackstar, as well as Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool, Anohni’s Hopelessness and more. The prize was awarded at a ceremony in London tonight where Skepta performed his single “Shutdown.” Congrats, Skepta.
