Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament, Napalm Death @ Jones Beach (pics, videos, setlist)
Thrash legends Slayer — whose lineup includes original members Tom Araya and Kerry King, ’90s-era drummer Paul Bostaph, and Exodus guitarist Gary Holt — are on what they’re saying is their “final” tour, and after hitting the NYC-area for a NJ show in early June (pics), Slayer returned to the NYC-area for a Jones Beach show on July 29. This time, they had grindcore pioneers Napalm Death instead of Behemoth, and the rest of the killer support lineup was the same: fellow thrash vets Anthrax and Testament, and huge newer band Lamb of God.
