Earlier this year, Slipknot released the new single “All Out Life,” and like a lot of their past material, it was actually very good. It got us excited for the new album Slipknot have been promising for 2019, and now Slipknot have announced that album and shared lead single “Unsainted.” (“All Out Life” isn’t on the album.) The album is called We Are Not Your Kind and due August 9 via Roadrunner. The new song pretty much sounds like early 2000s era Slipknot, complete with a very catchy chorus, a half-speed breakdown, and other familiar tricks, plus some less familiar tricks like a vocal choir. Listen and watch the video below. Artwork and tracklist below too. Slipknot also debuted their new masks in the above photo.

Slipknot will play Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday (5/17), and this summer they’re touring with Gojira, Behemoth, and Volbeat. The tour hits NY’s Jones Beach on August 28 and NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on 8/30 (tickets). All dates are listed below.

In other news, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor is narrating the Big Black chapter of the Our Band Could Be Your Life audiobook.
