Sloppy Jane & Insecure Men playing free Meltasia afterparty at Baby's tonight

Meltasia fest happened last weekend in the Catskills and three of the bands who played it are in Brooklyn tonight for a free official after-show. (Like, way after, man.) Headlining are the wild, cacophonous, clothing-optional band Sloppy Jane, with a paired-down set from Insecure Men, the new group from Saul of Fat White Family. Also on the bill: NYC noisepunks Animal Show. The fun starts at 8 PM.

Insecure Men played a late night set at Baby’s on Wednesday (technically Thursday), with about seven people on stage, including a pedal steel player and a horn section. Tonight it’s just Saul and collaborator Ben Romans-Hopcraft. Check out a pic from the Baby’s show, below.
