slowthai announces North American tour, played Glastonbury with Denzel Curry

UK rapper slowthai released his excellent debut album There’s Nothing Great About Britain on True Panther/Method in May, and then made his US debut with NYC and LA shows in June. We caught one of the NYC shows, and it was clear that he’s already got a killer live show that feels as rooted in punk as it is in hip hop, and it was also clear that he would be quickly moving on to larger venues. That’s what he’ll do when he returns to our shores this September for his first headlining North America tour. He plays larger venues in LA and NYC than he did last time, plus stops in San Francisco, Vancouer, Seattle, Toronto, and Chicago. Before that tour, he’s got those two previously announced Red Rocks shows with Flume and JPEGMAFIA.

The newly-added NYC show happens September 14 at Music Hall of Williamsburg (tickets). All dates are listed below.

Meanwhile, slowthai and Denzel Curry have long been teasing a collaborative song together (that slowthai played at his recent NYC show), and the two rappers performed it together for the first time at Glastonbury this past weekend. Video of that is below.
