slowthai brought his wild live show to Music Hall of Williamsburg (pics, video)

UK rapper slowthai‘s There’s Nothing Great About Britain remains one of the year’s best debut albums, and slowthai continues to rise. Following some totally wild small US shows back in June, he went on a slightly longer North American tour of slightly larger venues this month, including a return to NYC on 9/14 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The show was just as wild and sweaty as the Elsewhere Zone One shows he played in June (and like at those shows, he stripped down to his boxer shorts, accordingly). Opener ICECOLDBISHOP was also pretty nuts and jumped into the crowd a number of times. Pics of the madness are in the gallery above and some video is below.

slowthai, who officially released the Denzel Curry collab last week that he had been playing live for a while, is also a guest on the new Brockhampton album and opening their upcoming tour, alongside experimental duo 100 gecs. That tour includes NYC shows on November 22 & 23 at the Hulu Theater at MSG (tickets).
