Smino announces 2019 tour
St. Louis/Chicago rapper Smino released his great sophomore album Noir back in November, then he was announced for Coachella, and then he and Saba joined Noname in NYC on stage at Brooklyn Steel and on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play their collaborative “Ace” from Noname’s excellent Room 25. There’s also speculation that the trio have a project together in the works (no confirmation yet, but Smino posted the Fallon video on his Facebook with the caption “2019”).
Meanwhile, Smino has a massive tour coming up surrounding Coachella, including NYC shows on March 9 at Brooklyn Steel and March 10 at Irving Plaza. Tickets for BK Steel and Irving go on sale Friday (1/18) at 10 AM with presales starting beforehand. All dates are listed below.
Noname and Saba will both be back in NYC for Governors Ball, and Saba is also playing Bonnaroo.
