Snail Mail & Waxahatchee covered Sheryl Crow (watch)

Snail ft. Wax

A post shared by Tierney Bechtel (@tierners) on

Snail Mail are on tour in support of their excellent debut LP, Lush. That tour stopped at Philadelphia’s Union Transfer on Saturday (7/14) night, where frontwoman Lindsey Jordan brought out a special guest – Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee – for a cover of Sheryl Crow’s “Strong Enough,” featuring some gorgeous harmonizing between the two singers. Lindsey introduced the song by saying, “this is for all the heteros, thank you,” and you can watch video of the whole thing below.

Snail Mail return to NYC for three shows with Alvvays and Hatchie at Warsaw in September (9/27 and 9/28 are sold out, but tickets are on sale for 9/26), and a big show with Interpol and Car Seat Headrest at Madison Square Garden in February (tickets). They’ll also be in Montauk even sooner for a show at the Surf Lodge 7/20.

Waxahatchee also return to NYC in September, for a show with Night Shop and Anna St. Louis as part of The Bell House’s tenth anniversary celebration. (tickets)
