Snapcase announce 2 BK shows, working on first new music in 16 years
Boundary-pushing metalcore vets Snapcase played a hometown one-off in Buffalo earlier this year, where they debuted a new song, “Spike Up Your Tone.” The band later said, “This is our first new song in 16 years. We are super excited to be working on new material and will do our best to keep Snapcase a part of all our busy lives.” Exciting! If a new album is on the way, it’ll be their first since 2003’s Bright Flashes. Fingers crossed.
Snpacase’s shows are still few and far between, but they did just announce two Brooklyn shows: May 11 at Brooklyn Bazaar (tickets) and May 12 at Saint Vitus (tickets). Tickets for both go on sale Friday (3/9) at 10 AM. Maybe they’ll play more new songs at these shows? Let’s hope.
