SNL taps Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Eddie Murphy, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, more for Season 45

Saturday Day Night Live will be back for its 45th season on September 28 and they’ve just announced the initial lineup of hosts and musical guests. Woody Harrelson hosts the season premiere on 9/28 with Billie Eilish as musical guest; Fleabag creator/star Phoebe Waller-Bridge hosts on October 5 with Taylor Swift as musical guest; and Stranger Things star David Harbour hosts on October 12 with Camila Cabello as musical guest.

Additionally, Kristen Stewart hosts on November 2 and Eddie Murphy will host on December 21 (his first time since 1984) but musical guests for those dates have not been announced.

No word on this season’s SNL cast — Kate McKinnon‘s contract expired in May, though she is expected to return in some capacity.

UPDATE: It was revealed that Leslie Jones has officially exited SNL to focus on her film career and will not be returning this season.

Meanwhile, the show’s longest-running cast member, Kenan Thompson, is playing two Knitting Factory Brooklyn shows in December, and tickets for those go on sale Sunday, September 1 at noon.
