Snoop Dogg played the Jersey City Fourth of July fireworks (pics)

Yesterday was the Fourth of July, and Jersey City celebrated with its annual festival that included fireworks and live music, headlined this year by Snoop Dogg. Snoop played a handful of classics and brought out Akon. The day kicked off at noon, and other performers included Michael Brun and Bayli, and Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier, who talked about his environmental foundation Lonely Whale. Pictures are in the gallery above. You can watch Pix 11’s video coverage of the event, plus some videos of Snoop’s set, below.

Snoop Dogg is also featured in the upcoming G FUNK documentary that comes to YouTube Premium on July 11.
