Solange announced intimate New York State shows this weekend

Solange has announced a last minute, intimate series of performances on Sunday (9/10) in Woodridge, NY called “Musical Meditation.” The series is described as:

A performance piece composed, arranged, and choreographed by Solange to encourage a moment of meditation and reflection to build internal energy through music and fellowship.

There are three showtimes of the performance, which happens at an undisclosed location in Woodridge, NY (two hours from NYC in New York State) that will be released to ticket buyers. Like Solange’s ‘An Ode To’ piece at The Guggenheim, no cameras or phones will be allowed in the venue, and there is an all white dress code. Tickets are on sale.

Solange recently performed at Made in America, Afropunk Festival, and one of Dave Chappelle’s Radio City residency shows. Her upcoming shows include two shows of her own at Radio City Music Hall with Earl Sweatshirt and Sun Ra Arkestra, as well as a benefit show in Boston for Hurricane Harvey relief.
