Dave Chappelle continued his awesome, guest-filled, 16-show Radio City residency last night (8/22) with one of the residency’s most exciting guests, Solange. Like he was at several other nights, Donnell Rawlings (aka Ashy Larry from Chappelle’s Show) was in the house too.

Like at her headlining set at Panorama last month (and other festivals), Solange played with the whole stage drenched in red, her extremely tight band in matching outfits, and she again filled the stage at one point with 20 or 30 horn players. One attendee said, “From Solange performing like 10 songs to Dave ending his show with the story of Emmett Till and the direction of our country, my summer is almost complete!” Check out some more pictures and a short video from the show below.

Solange will play her fourth NYC show of 2017 at Afropunk Festival this weekend. Her label Saint Heron has a stage that also includes Sampha, Thundercat, Sinkane, KING, and Shakaba and the Ancestors.

Chappelle has just two shows remaining in his Radio City residency: tonight (8/23) with Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) and his Black Star partner Talib Kweli, and Thursday (8/24) with Ali Wong, John Mayer, and a DJ set by Lil Jon.

Previous guests in Chappelle’s run included Lauryn Hill, Childish Gambino, Hannibal Buress, Jon Stewart, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Kevin Hart, T.I., Dead Prez, Big Boi, Usher, Ice Cube, Common, Vince Staples, Tyler the Creator, Lil Wayne, The Roots, Anderson Paak, Fat Joe, and more. Chappelle has also been making surprise appearances at the Comedy Cellar during the run.
