Solange pulls out of Coachella 2019

Solange has cancelled her appearance at the 2019 edition of Coachella. A statement from the festival cites “major production delays” as the cause:

Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.

Solange had been scheduled to perform on Saturday (April 13 & 20), along with Tame Impala, Kid Cudi, Weezer, Aphex Twin, J Balvin, Christine & The Queens, Wiz Khalifa, Mac DeMarco and more. There’s been no word yet on a possible replacement for her.

The first weekend of Coachella 2019 begins on Friday (4/12). Both weekends stream live this year.
