Hollow Sunshine's Morgan Enos recorded a Sun Kil Moon parody EP & it's hilariously spot on (listen)

As Stereogum points out, someone recorded a Sun Kil Moon parody EP and it’s hilariously spot on. UPDATE: The person in question is Morgan Enos of Hollow Sunshine and Other Houses.

It opens with a song called “I Watched The Movie The Revenant With Leo DiCaprio,” which nails Mark Kozelek’s stream-of-consciousness lyrics, his plainspoken delivery, higher-pitched overdubbed backing vocals, and his exact style of acoustic guitar playing. The EP’s description reads:

“Under The Canopy” is probably the new EP from Sun Kil Moon. Written and recorded over the course of one afternoon by Morgan Enos, the three stirring tracks eulogize the late musicians Glenn Frey and David Bowie, while commenting on what Mark might be doing today.
