Sondre Lerche celebrated the release of his new album Pleasure at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on Saturday (4/15). He doesn’t always tour with a backing band, but this time he is, allowing Sondre to show off his more rocking side. He also made time for a solo rendition of “I’m Always Watching You” which he sang sans microphone, and he hopped down into the crowd at one point to dance, too. Even with the new record he made time for a bunch of favorites off his older records like “Phantom Punch,” “Two Way Monologue” and “Minor Detail,” not to mention a cover of Elvis Costello’s “Human Hands.” Setlist is below.

Ice Choir, Kurt Feldman’s ’80s-style synth outfit who just remixed Sondre’s “Violent Game,” were the night’s undercard. Photos from their set, and more of Sondre, in the gallery above.
