SOPHIE expands tour, playing Brooklyn Steel

L.A.-based electronic artist SOPHIE just released her debut album, OIL OF EVERY PEARL’S UN-INSIDES, on Friday (6/22) which contains singles “It’s Okay to Cry,” “Ponyboy,” and “Faceshopping,” and six more examples of her arty dance music. SOPHIE also celebrated the release of the new LP with an appearance at LadyLand fest in NYC during Pride Weekend, and she’ll be back to play Brooklyn Steel on September 20, part of a short run of North American dates that month that includes a stop at Pop Montreal. Tickets for Brooklyn Steel go on AmEx presale today at noon, with the general on-sale starting Friday, June 29 at noon. Updated dates are listed below.
