Sorority Noise reschedule tour dates, share new song
As you may know, Modern Baseball are currently on a break and cancelled all tour dates including their tour with Kevin Devine, Sorority Noise, and The Obsessives. Sorority Noise have now announced a headlining tour to make up for it, with The Obsessives opening on all dates. (No word on new Kevin Devine dates at the moment.)
The SN tour includes a run with additional support from Forth Wanderers and Shannen Moser, and that run hits NYC on June 15 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for MHOW go on sale Friday (3/10) at noon.
Sorority Noise are also playing three in-stores to celebrate their new album You’re Not As _____ As You Think. Those happen at Philly’s Creep Records on March 16 (7 PM), Long Island’s Looney Tunes on March 18 (2 PM), and Jersey’s Vintage Vinyl on March 21 (7 PM). Updated SN dates are listed below.
Sorority Noise also just shared another song off that album, “Disappeared.” Like first single “No Halo,” it’s got softer verses and a loud, cathartic chorus. Listen to that below too.
If you’re catching the run that has Philly’s Shannen Moser opening, it’s worth showing up early to see her set. She recently released the album Oh, My Heart, which is a really nice dose of cello-fueled, lo-fi singer/songwriter stuff. Stream it below.
