Soulfly playing Nailbomb's 'Point Blank' on tour with Cannabis Corpse, Noisem

Nailbomb

Max Cavalera’s band Soulfly will be hitting the road this fall performing 1994’s Point Blank, the sole album by Max’s Nailbomb project. They’ve got some amazing openers, including weed pun lovers Cannabis Corpse, hardcore crushers Harm’s Way, and death-trashers Noisem. Max Cavalera’s sons’ band Lody Kong are also on all dates.

The run with Cannabis Corpse, Noisem, and Lody Kong hits NYC on October 22 at Gramercy Theatre (tickets). All dates are listed below.

As for Noisem, they’ve had some changes going down in their world. Their 2015 album Blossoming Decay was one of my favorite metal albums of 2015, and last year we heard that they signed to Relapse to work on a new album. Since then, vocalist Tyler Carnes, bassist Billy Carnes, and guitarist Yago Ventura parted the band “due to quite a few points of contention.” Tyler was replaced by Ben Anft, who used to sing for Noisem back when they were called Necropsy. Their new album Cease To Exist is recorded and the band “will be taking the next steps to get it out.” The band revealed the news along with a short clip of their 6/5/17 show, which you can watch below.

Cannabis Corpse are not to be confused with Cannibal Corpse, who announced a tour with Power Trip and Gatecreeper this week.
