livestream South by South Lawn live from The White House (Sharon Jones canceled)

South by South Lawn is happening as we speak outside the The White House (10/3). Sharon Jones, who was to have played today, was home sick, recovering from pneumonia, but the Dap Kings still played, with Binky Griptite and Saun & Starr fronting the band. There are a few events still to come, including The Lumineers at 6:15 PM, and a discussion between President Obama with Leonardo DiCaprio and Dr. Katharine Hayhoe before a screening of new National Geographic documentary Before the Flood which stars DiCaprio and also features Presidents Obama and Clinton (and a score by Mogwai, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross).
