Madrid garage rockers The Parrots released their debut album, Los Niños Sin Miedo, earlier this year and the current single from that is “A Thousand Ways.” Say the band, “There’s a key moment in your teenage years when the forbidden, the temptations and the unknown start to attract you, and you avoid responsibilities and complex questions. This is the moment when, along with your friends, childhood dies. This is the moment upon which ‘A Thousand Ways’ is built.” They’ve just made a video for the single with director Pablo Amores which is beautifully shot and rather arty. It premieres in this post and you can stream it below.

The Parrots will be in the U.S. for SXSW 2017 but will stop in NYC on their way there to play Shea Stadium on March 10 with Stuyedeyed. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

Los Niños Sin Miedo made their buddies Hinds’ list of Best LPs of 2016 and, in kind, The Parrots’ have included Hinds’ Leave Me Alone in their end-of-year list, which also includes Los Nastys, Angel Olsen, Nicolas Jaar, Schoolboy Q and more. Check out Parrots’ Top 10 list, and stream their LP, below.
