Sparks share "Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)" from new LP, add 2nd BV-presented show
Sparks recently shared Edith “Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)” from their upcoming album Hippopotamus (out September 8). It’s got all the Mael brothers earmarks: arch humor, grandiose style, and a beat you can dance to. You can stream that below.
As mentioned, Sparks will be on a full-band tour this fall, including a BrooklynVegan-presented show at Le Poisson Rouge on October 11. That show has sold out, and we’ve added a second BV-presented show at LPR on October 10. Tickets for the 10/10 show go on sale Friday, August 11 at noon.
