Sparks touring with full band this fall, playing Le Poisson Rouge (BV Presents ++ Presale)

Arch art pop greats Sparks will release their new album, Hippopotamus, on September 8 and you can check out videos for the title track and “What The Hell Is It This Time?” below.

Ron and Russell Mael will be bringing Sparks to North America for a few shows this fall where they’ll be backed by a five-piece band. BrooklynVegan is excited to be presenting their NYC show which happens October 11 at Le Poisson Rouge. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 28 at 10 AM but you can get them early with the BrooklynVegan presale which starts Thursday (7/27) at 10 AM. Check back Thursday morning for the presale password.

Sparks will also be presenting a three-day event at Los Angeles’ El Rey on October 14, 15 & 17, and will play San Francisco on October 20. All tour dates are listed below.
